Gosamara Apartments - Byron Bay

The apartments are clean and well-maintained.

Unfortunately, the pool area felt smaller than expected from the images, and we were unable to enjoy it due to overcrowding.

The location was central, fantastic close to the main shopping area of Byron Bay. Further, it was right by the centre of town as well as all the restaurants. I had extremely comfy bed and gates in the impeccably clean and modern. A sofa bed, central heating, and an iron were appreciated.

This hotel was located in a central area very close to all the great restaurants and cafes are. Beautifully designed units with a Queen size bed, and the staff were top-class.

Consider reversing into the tight underground parking for easier exit. It's a practical tip for navigating the secure but dimly lit car park.

This beachside hotel stands out for its modern design. Fairly friendly people are working. Its location is marvellous and lovely, close to Byron town or belongil beach and restaurants and all the cool restaurants and bars.

Excellent Location, well designed holiday apartment complex with emphasis on privacy and natural outlook, dwelling layout, dwelling and apartment facilities i.e. swimming pool and spa and good separation between bedrooms and living space. Secure car park. Easy walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Good value for money. Great service provided by managers.

The pool was great for the kids, but the apartment had a musty smell.

The apartments were quiet, clean and modern with every available facility.

Sometimes the noise from the pool got a bit much when a lot of kids were playing in the pool (as our apartment overlooked the pool) but we did not mind.

We found our stay comfortable and the apartment was relatively clean. On check in we were welcomed and provided with local information which was very helpful.

The pool was very cloudy/dirty on arrival which was quite disappointing - it did improve over the cousre of our stay but certainly wasnt crystal clean. The DVD player on the lower level in Appt 5 did not work - again, this was disappointing.

I enjoyed the clean and well-maintained surroundings, along with the lovely warm pool and the relaxing mineral spa. The convenient location, just a short stroll to the beach and town, made everything accessible.

No significant negatives experienced.

We only stayed one night and due to rehearsals and set up for our performance we really had no clear idea of when we would arrive to check in. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Up early the next morning we enjoyed the warm pool and spa and then after a quick check out we were on the way to our next set up and performance. An easy and enjoyable experience.

Our apartment was well laid out (over 3 levels) and gave us good privacy and security for us and our three young children.

The apartment was lacking in maintenance. The DVD player, digital set-top box and room safe were all not working upon our arrival. The decor and general "feel" of the apartment was tired and clearly needed to be refreshed and/or updated, particularly to justify the amount we had paid for our week there, which (although acknowledging we were there during peak season) was a fair bit higher than friends who were in Byron Bay at the same time as us and who had paid less for a similar size apartment with far better decor/furnishings and in a much more central location.

The two-bedroom apartment offered ample space for a family. Direct beach access allowed for quick trips to the sand.

Overwhelmed by a musty smell in the bedroom, I had to use a dehumidifier and my own perfume just to make the place tolerable. The living room's dim lighting, and the air conditioning unit noise from a neighboring room disrupted our sleep. Additional issues included missing light bulbs, a broken spa timer that wasn't functional, and poor soundproofing leading to disturbances from the upstairs neighbors. The lack of basic amenities like a washing machine/dryer forced us to improvise, and the back gate didn't close properly, raising security concerns.
